In May, communities in the District of Korca, Albania were struck by a significant earthquake resulting in the damage and loss of many homes and livelihoods. The Albanian Faith Foundation partnered with Lion’s Club of Pogradec to supply families in need after the earthquake. Food packages for 100 families were provided along with 100 blankets, 50 portable beds, and drinking water. Supplies were purchase with funds provided by supporters of the Foundation, blankets, and beds we donated by the Lion’s Club. Xhuljo Kashari, the Foundation Project Coordinator, oversaw the purchased, assembled, and distributed of the food packages with aid from missionaries and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints in the city of Elbasan. Many families were grateful for the help they desperately needed after the losses of the earthquake giving them the food and beds so badly needed. Thanks to all our supporters.
